Accounting has become much more than a career for me—it has become a passion and a calling. What started as a desire to help a handful of business owners understand their finances has grown into a business dedicated to helping entrepreneurs make confident financial decisions. When I launched Jones Bookkeeping & Consulting Services, I started with just a small group of clients. Over the past six years, I have had the privilege of serving businesses across a wide range of industries, growing from approximately 10 clients to more than 50 at one point. That journey taught me invaluable lessons about scaling a business, building strong systems, and creating processes that truly support both my clients and my team. As my company evolved, so did the services we provide. What began as traditional bookkeeping has expanded into full-service accounting support, including financial reporting, payroll, sales tax, accounts payable and receivable, budgeting, cash flow management, job costing, inventory accounting, internal controls, process development, and strategic financial consulting. Today, I intentionally serve a smaller portfolio of approximately 30 clients so I can provide a higher level of service, deeper financial insight, and become a true partner in each client’s success rather than simply their bookkeeper. One of the greatest rewards of my work is seeing business owners gain confidence in their numbers. I love helping clients understand not only where their business stands today, but where it is headed tomorrow. Financial statements tell a story, and I enjoy helping business owners use that story to make better decisions, increase profitability, improve cash flow, and build businesses that will last for years to come. For me, accounting isn’t just about reconciling accounts or preparing reports. It’s about giving business owners peace of mind. It’s about creating systems that allow them to spend less time worrying about their books and more time focusing on serving their customers, growing their teams, and doing what they love. My goal has always remained the same: to become a trusted advisor who genuinely cares about the success of every client. Every business has a unique story, and I consider it an honor to be a small part of helping write its next chapter.

My Story

First and foremost, I am a follower of Christ, a wife, a mother, and a business owner. My faith is the foundation of everything I do and guides the way I serve my family, my team, and my clients. I believe that integrity, honesty, and treating people with kindness are just as important as producing accurate financial statements.

My husband, Cedric, and I have been blessed with six amazing children, ranging in age from 7 to 25. Life is busy, loud, and wonderfully rewarding. As a family, we’ve built Jones Bookkeeping & Consulting Services together, and it’s been incredible to watch our children grow alongside the business. Today, two of our children are pursuing Bachelor’s degrees in Business while working as accounting clerks with our firm, gaining real-world experience and developing the same passion for serving business owners that inspired me to start this company.

Education has always been important to me because I believe there is always something new to learn. I earned two Associate’s degrees in Business and Art, followed by a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting. I am currently halfway through earning my Master of Business Administration (MBA), continuing my commitment to growing both professionally and personally so I can better serve the businesses that place their trust in me.

Over the past fifteen years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with businesses of all sizes and across many different industries. Those experiences have taught me that no two businesses are alike, but every business owner shares a common goal—to build something meaningful and successful. I understand the challenges, the long hours, and the weight that comes with making financial decisions because I’ve experienced entrepreneurship firsthand.

What I enjoy most is helping business owners move beyond simply keeping their books up to date. I love helping them understand their financial reports, identify opportunities for growth, improve profitability, strengthen cash flow, and build systems that create long-term success. My goal is to provide more than bookkeeping—I strive to become a trusted financial partner who genuinely cares about the future of every business I serve.

Outside of work, my greatest joy is spending time with my family. Whether we’re cheering on our children’s accomplishments, enjoying time together at church, or simply sharing dinner around the table, those moments remind me why I work so hard. They keep me grounded, grateful, and focused on what matters most.
